Reverend Johnathan B. Strange serves as the Senior
Pastor of New Fellowship Christian Church in Palestine,
Texas. He was born in Houston, TX to John Strange and
the late but not forgotten Debra Cook Strange Allen. He is
also the proud husband of Danielle Strange and father of
one son Darius Strange. In Houston, he started his
elementary education at Windsor Village Elementary,
middle school education at Johnston Middle school, and
high school education at James Madison High School. He
furthered his education at Alcorn State University in
Mississippi and University of Houston - Downtown.

In his youth, Pastor Strange has been awarded the Eagle Scout Award, named one of the Top 100 Football Players in Texas,
and National Youth Achiever, just to name a few. He was called to the ministry in 2002 at the age of 21 at Wheeler Avenue
Baptist Church in Houston, TX, under the Pastoral ship of now Pastor Emeritus Rev. William A. Lawson and received
guidance from now Senior Pastor Rev. Dr. Marcus D. Cosby.
Johnathan's joy has always been to see the spirit of God move and transform the lives of Gods people. His belief is that if he
can touch one life each day; that’s one more soldier for the kingdom and therefore he has the highest job in the land. Pastor
Strange has traveled all around preaching and declaring himself as a Matthew 3:3 preacher “A voice of one calling in the
desert’ Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him”.
